Every agent gets a manager, a role, a permission set and a performance record in the HR system of record

isolved announced on October 21, 2026 Agent View. Administrators can manage human employees and AI agents together in one system of record. Each agent appears on the org chart with an assigned manager, a role, an identity, defined permissions and a performance record. isolved calls its approach Workforce Capital Management.

isolved presents Agent View as an extension of its HR and payroll platform, not a separate AI management product. The first agent in the view is The Guardian, the isolved agent. Direct customers can see its identity, manager, permissions and performance, next to the people and third-party agents that it works with. Each new isolved agent will appear in Agent View automatically.

isolved built the feature for mid-sized organizations, where one HR team often covers payroll, benefits, talent and compliance. The isolved 2026 HR Leaders Report found that 82 percent of organizations use AI in HR processes, up from 69 percent in 2025. It found that 34 percent invest in AI or automation to scale capacity. isolved gave no general availability date.

Michael Haske, CEO of isolved, said, “HR teams have managed every change in the workforce, and AI agents are the next one.” Pragya Gupta, Chief Operating Officer, said, “You shouldn’t need a dedicated team just to know who’s managing your AI agents.” Cliff Stevenson, Director of Research at Sapient Insights Group, said, “Humans don’t need AI, but AI absolutely needs humans.”

The idea is not only an HR idea. SK Telecom published its first AI Governance Report this week. The report tracks agents with IDs, supervisors and activity logs, and it sets criteria for retiring an agent.

The takeaway

An agent with a manager, a permission set and a performance record is a worker that HR can audit. Give every go-to-market agent an owner on the org chart before you give it a quota.

Why it matters for agent-led growth

  • The owner question gets an answer. Most teams cannot say who manages a given agent. A line on the org chart answers that question for the auditor and for the agent’s colleagues.
  • Permissions live where people manage access. HR already handles roles and offboarding. An agent in that system can be revoked the same way as a person who leaves.
  • Performance records make agents comparable. A record per agent lets a leader compare an AI sales development agent with a human one on the same page.
  • The mid-market buys the bundle. A small HR team will not buy an agent management product. It will take the feature inside the payroll system that it already pays for.
