ZoomInfo acquires DoubleO.ai and launches Agent Teams to run complete go-to-market plays

An agent can run a sales play from start to finish only when its steps repeat the same way and it knows the current state of the account
ZoomInfo announced on September 30, 2026 that it acquired DoubleO.ai, a company that builds orchestration for teams of AI agents. One day later, ZoomInfo released Agent Teams inside GTM Studio. Agent Teams runs complete go-to-market plays, such as the follow-up when a champion changes jobs. Customers get it with no new SKU and no new contract.
Derek Osgood and Karthik Suresh founded DoubleO.ai in 2024. They also founded Ignition, which Klue acquired. Osgood described the problem that DoubleO.ai set out to fix. He said that agents “don’t run the same way twice,” so a person must watch every step. In that model, he said, a team gets “maybe a 20% improvement.”
The DoubleO.ai orchestration gives each agent a specific role, instructions and tools. The agents share context from earlier steps and use it to choose the next action. ZoomInfo adds its Context Graph: data on more than 100 million companies, 500 million contacts and billions of signals.
ZoomInfo described two example plays. In the first play, a champion changes companies. The agents check if the new employer is a customer or fits the ideal customer profile (ICP). Then they map the buying committee and start outreach based on the earlier relationship.
In the second play, a deal closes. The agents analyze the full sales cycle and draft a case study. Then they find 10 prospects that compete with the new customer and send personalized outreach.
CEO Henry Schuck said that DoubleO.ai built the layer that “lets agents actually take a GTM motion end to end.” Caroline Burnett, Sales Operations Leader at Silverfort, said that Agent Teams helps her scale revenue operations (RevOps).
The takeaway
An agent that runs a full play needs two parts: steps that run the same way each time, and current data about the account. Get both parts in place before you give an agent a play from start to finish.
Why it matters for agent-led growth
- Reliability sets the size of the gain. Osgood estimates a 20% gain when a person must watch each step. The gain grows only when the agents run the same way each time.
- Start with plays that have a clear trigger. A champion who changes jobs and a deal that closes are events with a date. An agent can act on an event more safely than on a broad goal.
- Audit what your agents can read. Agent Teams reads account data, internal signals and relationship history. List the data that your own agents can read before you give them a play.
- Compare vendors on the result of each play. ZoomInfo added Agent Teams with no new SKU. Expect data vendors to bundle agents with the data contract, and ask each vendor for results by play.
