Movable Ink introduces headless marketing with an MCP server and four new assistants

The marketer stays in Claude or ChatGPT, and the campaign platform becomes a set of 50 APIs behind the conversation

Movable Ink announced on October 13, 2026 a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server and four new AI assistants. The company calls the approach headless marketing. Marketers can create, manage and optimize campaigns from the AI tools that they already use, such as Claude and ChatGPT. The MCP server exposes more than 50 APIs across eight Da Vinci domains.

Through natural-language prompts, a marketer can manage, schedule and proof content across all channels. The marketer can manage and activate audiences and data. The marketer can create, review, approve and manage creative. The MCP server also gives access to brand assets, creative guidelines and reports on campaign, creative and performance.

The four assistants live in the Agentic Orchestration Platform. The Analytics Assistant answers reporting questions in natural language. The Brand Kit Assistant automates brand guidelines and creative setup. The Subject Line Assistant writes on-brand copy. The Designer Assistant builds custom creative properties from conversational prompts, without code.

The release is part of the Programmatic CRM strategy that Movable Ink introduced at Think Summit NYC in June 2026. The strategy applies the automation and decisioning of paid media to owned channels such as email, mobile and web.

Adam Stambleck, Chief Executive Officer of Movable Ink, said, “The future of marketing isn’t about forcing teams into another interface.” He said that AI often lacks the campaign, creative and customer data context that marketing requires. Movable Ink gave no general availability date, pricing or rollout details.

The takeaway

When a marketing platform goes headless, its value moves from the screen to the data and the approvals behind the API. Decide which campaign actions an assistant can take from a chat window, and which ones still need a person in the platform.

Why it matters for agent-led growth

  • MCP is now a product feature. MessageGears, Webflow and Movable Ink each shipped an MCP server this month. Ask each marketing vendor what its MCP server exposes and what it keeps behind a login.
  • Context is the moat. Stambleck said that AI lacks campaign, creative and customer data context. The vendor that holds that context will serve the agent, no matter which chat window the marketer uses.
  • Keep the approve step with a person. The APIs include review and approve actions for creative. Let the assistant build and proof, and keep the approval in the platform with a named owner.
  • Interface loyalty ends. Marketers will pick the assistant, not the platform screen. Judge a platform by the quality of its data and its controls, not its interface.
