Demandbase launches three AI agents for business-to-agent (B2A) marketing
Industry News · Marketing Technology · October 26, 2026
Buyers now start with an agent, not a search, so Demandbase built agents that shape what those agents say about your brand
Demandbase announced on October 20, 2026 three new AI agents at its GO conference in New York City. The AEO Agent, the Campaign Agent and the Audience Agent add business-to-agent (B2A) marketing to the Demandbase platform. Demandbase gave no pricing and no general availability date.
The AEO Agent shows how AI assistants describe and recommend a company, including to individual members of a buying group. It measures visibility for relevant questions and finds the sources behind AI-generated answers. It flags outdated information and content gaps, and it launches campaigns to improve the position of the brand in AI answers. It also identifies anonymous AI-driven traffic at the account and contact level, so sales can act on it.
The Campaign Agent links campaigns to revenue goals, finds performance gaps and recommends adjustments. It coordinates with other specialized agents on campaign planning and execution. The Audience Agent builds and maintains audiences from ideal customer profiles, buying groups and account activity. It finds missing members of a buying group and keeps audiences ready for activation.
The three agents build on Mojo, the B2B marketing agent that Demandbase launched in September 2026. A headless architecture lets teams use Demandbase intelligence through existing AI assistants, custom agents and collaboration apps. The connection runs through APIs and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers. All of the agents draw on the Marketing Brain, a shared intelligence engine that combines Demandbase data with each customer’s business context.
Gabe Rogol, CEO of Demandbase, said, “Marketing to people isn’t enough anymore because buyers no longer start with a search.” He said that buyers now start with an agent, and that marketers must shape what those agents say about their brands. The release cites a Gartner prediction that AI agents will intermediate 90 percent of B2B buying by 2028.
The takeaway
The first reader of your content is now an AI assistant that briefs the buyer. Measure what that assistant says about you, and fix the sources that it cites, before you spend on the next campaign.
Why it matters for agent-led growth
- B2A is a new audience. The buyer’s agent reads your site, your reviews and third-party pages. Treat it as a segment with its own content plan and its own metrics.
- AI traffic has an account behind it. The AEO Agent ties anonymous AI-driven visits to accounts and contacts. Route those visits to sales like any other intent signal.
- Headless is the pattern of the month. Demandbase joins Movable Ink and MessageGears in exposing intelligence through MCP. Ask where your marketer works, and bring the data there.
- Treat the Gartner number as a forecast. A prediction that agents will intermediate 90 percent of B2B buying by 2028 is not a measurement. Build for it, and test your own buyer behavior each quarter.
